Frequently Asked Questions
-
1.) How long does it take to reach the desired temperature?
Frequently Ask Questions:
- Upon first usage, it will drop by 3 degrees per hour. However, once it reaches the desired
temperature, it can stay on that temperature for however long as long as it is not unplugged. -
2.) How often should I change the water?
- Depending on the usage, we recommend once every two weeks
-
3.) Can I leave my unit outside?
- Yes! Our units can be left outside, provided that the socket/plug is kept dry.
-
4.) Can I use chemicals on this?
We do not recommend using chemicals for our units. The filter is strong enough to keep the water
clean. -
5.) How frequently should I change filters?
-Depending on the usage, we recommend once a month.
-
6.) Can I place the pump higher than the chiller?
Ensure that the pump and filter are not positioned higher than the water level, as the pump does not have a self-priming function. They should be placed as low as possible.
-
7.) How do I prime my pump/filter?
Use the black plastic component on the filter to release air. Remove the black cap on the filter and turn the pump on. Once water flows in, the system should function properly. Turn off the pump, and put the black cap back on.
-
8.) How many gallons are the 1/3, 2/3 & 1HP models rated for respectfully?
Max cooling water volume:
1/3 - <300L
2/3 - <500L
1HP - < 1000L -
9.) Should I set my F1 and F2?
-There is no need to reset F1 and F2, as they are already set to the default values of 5 degrees and 0
degrees, respectively. It is strongly recommended to keep F1 between 2 and 5 degrees. Setting F1 too
high will make it difficult for the chiller to resume operation. We recommend setting this only when the
chiller does not reach the desired temperature. -
10.) Are the chillers compatible with other pumps and filters?
Yes! As long as the size fits the hoses.
-
11.) How far can the tub me from the Chiller?
The best distance is 1-2 meters.
